This October, the overall campaign and the ‘Pink Walkathon’ as the anchor event are supported by the strategic partner Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) as well as the other key partners ADCB, Amber Clinics, Del Monte and UniCare Medical Centre. Masafi will furthermore once again be providing water for participants of the walk.

“The Pink Walkathon is a positive representation of one of the key ideas behind Safe & Sound. Breast Cancer doesn’t only affect the patient – It affects entire families as well. With close to 8000 participants of all age groups and of both genders whom have walked the 3.6km distance in 2010, we are once again expecting an amazing event and are very much looking forward to everyone joining us on October 28.” says Sabina Khandwani, Spokesperson of Safe and Sound and Head of PR and Marketing at BurJuman.
Judelyne Al Kabt, a breast cancer survivor and a supporter of the Safe & Sound campaign has been a regular participant for the past 4 years: “I would definitely recommend for everyone to walk this year as it is a fantastic event for a great cause, plus it’s a great day to bring your family along with you. After all, your family is your biggest support system.”
