INSTADIARY: Holidays 2012

Since I have been lacking posts during the holidays, let me just share to you guys how it basically went through my instagram account (
The time when Papa was still offshore.
(Clockwise) Josel’s first night in Dubai and we had dinner at Hatam, Dubai Mall; Josel and I during lunch at Mango Tree Bistro, Mirdiff City Center; Mama and Me Church Time; Josel and I during Christmas Eve πŸ™‚
Christmas and New Year Nails πŸ™‚
I’ve always been a fan of nail arts and though I can only make simple designs, I make it a point to get my nails all thematic! Like for the ones above, Red, Gold and Emerald Green for Christmas.. And Emerald Green with Gold polka dots for 2013! πŸ™‚ Just a fact, I never really new that Emerald Green would be the color for 2013 but still I was able to come up with it although we didn’t hear any forecasts for the year ahead!
Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve Outfits! πŸ™‚
Well I have actually posted more details about these outfits here and here.
(Above L-R) Lindt Chocolates from my colleagues; Cute sling bag from Mama Jade (Tita); Toms, Wreck this Journal and Lauren Conrad Style from Boyfie;
(Below L-R) Starbucks 2013 Planner from my Ninong; Charlie Peplum Top and Skirt from my sister; Blackberry from my Parents
Obviously, gift giving would always be my favourite part! It always gets me all so giddy like a 5 year old receiving gifts πŸ™‚ And because we don’t really receive a lot every year (would only receive from within the family) I was happy to have received more than what I expected πŸ™‚
Post-Christmas and Advance New Year Get-together with friends at my house πŸ™‚
My friends’ first time over at our house because it’s far and it’s our Post-Christmas Get-together ❀ Yayy to that! We had dinner, exchange gifts (arranged by Mr. CF), Β and Beer Pong! πŸ™‚ Fun fun night with awesome people!! πŸ˜€
Family on New Year’s Eve and 4 of my favourite dishes served at NYE, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Baked Mussels, Lamb Chops, and Blueberry Cheesecake πŸ™‚
Complete on New Year’s Eve, definitely grateful and a great way to start 2013!! πŸ™‚
This might be a bit late but I would still love to know how you spent the Holidays! Share πŸ™‚
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 - A review

Hello, 2013!

Celebrating New Year have always been so simple for the family. Just Media Noche and watch the countdown and Burj Khalifa Fireworks on TV. I guess we were the safe kind of people who wouldn’t want ourselves out there (in Downtown Dubai for the Burj Khalifa Fireworks) with too many people, and very heavy traffic getting there and from there going home. Although we’ve never really experienced the New Year’s Eve rush in that part of Dubai, just by hearing others talk about it would only make me want to stay home more! Haha.
Anyway, like I said, we just had dinner, countdown and photoshoot! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜› Hihi
Lemme just show you some of our shots that night and what we had for Media Noche πŸ˜€
Media Noche Menu:
(1) BBQ Baby Back Ribs, (2) Grilled Lamb Chops, (3) Grilled Salmon, (4) Baked Mussels, (5) Baked Potatoes, (6) Lomi, (7) Blueberry Cheesecake, and (8) Raspberry Cheesecake
My contribution (meaning, I cooked/made) are the Baked Mussels and the Blueberry Cheesecake πŸ™‚
My sister’s is the Grilled Salmon
The rest are of course my parents’ πŸ™‚ And oh, the Raspberry Cheesecake is from our Tita!
Anyway, shots from NYE πŸ˜‰
My sister and I would always plan motifs and end up the only ones following it! Haha. Yes, such fashionistas we are πŸ˜‰
The motif was simple “Sparkle” and coincidently, we both wore black/gold! πŸ™‚
If you guys have read my post on Christmas (or at least notice the photos), Papa wasn’t there because he was assigned offshore. Blessed enough, he was able to come home before the New Year! So we definitely celebrated it happily πŸ˜€
Complete πŸ™‚
The Queen and the Princesses, LOL πŸ˜›
With my sister! If you simply don’t know and I would ask you to guess, who’s elder? Hihi
Oh well, Wishing you all had the Happiest New Year πŸ™‚
May 2013 be great to all of us! Surely an exciting year ahead πŸ˜‰
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 - A review

So last November 30, I finally graduated from the photography short course I was taking up with OPPPS*. It was every Friday for 3 months, learned a lot of course and met and became friends with an awesome bunch, the Mazinger C! πŸ™‚Β
Sharing you some photos from the Graduation Night! πŸ™‚
(c) Joel Santiago

Fun Booth with mother! πŸ™‚
I was supposed to be graduating with my Father Dear but since he suddenly went offshore and missed the last month of the workshop, he wasn’t able to do so! So Mama was the only one with me that night. But still, this one is for you Papa! πŸ˜‰

Fun Booth with Mazinger C’s:
(a)Β Oppa and a proud Bedan Sir Randy,
(b) Grupo Ocho {incomplete: Kuya Arnold, Kuya Russel, Ate Irene, and Kuya Joel – Missing Ate Lerma, Ate Juvy and Papa}
Sir Randy is our trainer together with Sir Jimmy and Sir Walter πŸ™‚ But the catch is with Sir Randy! Little did we both know that we were alumni of NCAA’s top rival colleges! Haha. It was that one time when I put up a status about Letran going in to the Finals and the rivalry between the Knights and the Red Lions were back that Sir Randy commented on suddenly cheering for the other team! :)) *Beda Tulo Laway! Haha
As for the Grupo Ocho, well, honestly we haven’t really bonded much.. Or may be ako lang? Lol. But it was nice having to enjoy the last moments with them, meaning the last meetings in class πŸ™‚ Most especially to Kuya Arnold, Kuya Joel and Ate Juvy!! πŸ˜€ Spent one whole day with them struggling with our final plates and going to places to shoot! Haha.

The ates (and the very bunso) of Mazinger C! Or should I say, the ever so makukulit and malakas trip members of Row 4! πŸ˜› .. With Mama of course!

The Bunsos of Mazinger C! πŸ™‚
Zyra and I! πŸ˜€
Haha! Zyra is actually the main bunsoΒ (youngest) of Mazinger C! But I just had to and wanted to proclaim to myself that I am too!! πŸ˜‰

Mazinger C! Incomplete :S
Β The night went really well! Although, it lasted for about 5 hours because the program had too many and too long breaks! But it was really fun! As photographers (now), expect that almost 80% of the time, we were only taking photos of ourselves. Suddenly coming up with themes and poses and pegs! All because we were all so glam and fab and of course, royalty that night πŸ™‚Β
So off to what I wore!
{Forever 21 dress, belt and head piece; Heels from Payless; Bracelet is Mom’s}
Bow is also from Forever 21 πŸ˜‰
Hair and Makeup done by yours truly πŸ˜‰
So! Since I am now a certified photographer, anyone wanna model for me?
I need and gotta practice more because I’d love to master Fashion Photography πŸ˜‰

*Overseas Pinoy Professional Photographers Society
* Sorry for the noisy and crappy quality photos! Mom’s to blame πŸ˜›
