INSTADIARY: Philippines 2013

Been back in town for a week now and I can say that I have already made the most out of it! What more in the weeks to come πŸ™‚ I’m just really so excited because we’re really having fun and I’ve already met up with the people I missed most!
Let me tell you how the first week went! πŸ™‚

A: Surprised UBEloves over at lunch at Sentro 1771, Greenbelt 3
B: Bowling at SM Mall of Asia after lunch
The whole trip was actually a surprise to everyone, Β even our relatives, so what more with friends right? Well, since this was going to be a surprise for boyfie and UBE at first, I have actually collaborated with Milette and Vince to plan it all. And mission accomplished, boyfie cried tears of joy and everyone else was shocked that I was back!! To sum it all, Kite and I, the OFWs, are both back at the same time! πŸ™‚

Chicken Katsu Set
After an afternoon filled with fun and competition (Bowling), spent the Β rest of it with boyfie and sister just roaming around SM Mall of Asia. We had Katsu for miryenda, at Yabu: House of Katsu! I can say it was good but, I think it’s really pricey :S I love the food nonetheless! ❀
Too much love with this baby boy! πŸ™‚ We were so bored waiting for my parents to have dinner so this was the result! Haha
With our Nanay :”> Papa’s mother!
We got it from our Nanay πŸ˜›

Visited Lolo’s and Tito Beng’s grave at Heritage Park, Taguig.
Then spent the rest of the day in Market Market and High Street πŸ™‚
That’s it so far! πŸ™‚ Today is actually my Tita’s birthday so we’re having a small celebration! ❀

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 - A review

Hello, 2013!

Celebrating New Year have always been so simple for the family. Just Media Noche and watch the countdown and Burj Khalifa Fireworks on TV. I guess we were the safe kind of people who wouldn’t want ourselves out there (in Downtown Dubai for the Burj Khalifa Fireworks) with too many people, and very heavy traffic getting there and from there going home. Although we’ve never really experienced the New Year’s Eve rush in that part of Dubai, just by hearing others talk about it would only make me want to stay home more! Haha.
Anyway, like I said, we just had dinner, countdown and photoshoot! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜› Hihi
Lemme just show you some of our shots that night and what we had for Media Noche πŸ˜€

Media Noche Menu:
(1) BBQ Baby Back Ribs, (2) Grilled Lamb Chops, (3) Grilled Salmon, (4) Baked Mussels, (5) Baked Potatoes, (6) Lomi, (7) Blueberry Cheesecake, and (8) Raspberry Cheesecake
My contribution (meaning, I cooked/made) are the Baked Mussels and the Blueberry Cheesecake πŸ™‚
My sister’s is the Grilled Salmon
The rest are of course my parents’ πŸ™‚ And oh, the Raspberry Cheesecake is from our Tita!
Anyway, shots from NYE πŸ˜‰

My sister and I would always plan motifs and end up the only ones following it! Haha. Yes, such fashionistas we are πŸ˜‰
The motif was simple “Sparkle” and coincidently, we both wore black/gold! πŸ™‚

If you guys have read my post on Christmas (or at least notice the photos), Papa wasn’t there because he was assigned offshore. Blessed enough, he was able to come home before the New Year! So we definitely celebrated it happily πŸ˜€

May 2013 be great to all of us! Surely an exciting year ahead πŸ˜‰

Christmas Eve 2012

Before anything else, I would like to wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It’s a tad late for the Christmas greeting but nonetheless, I wish your family had the greatest time celebrating Jesus’ birthday πŸ™‚ I would like to share with you guys how my family and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day through these photos πŸ™‚

After Church, we went to Dubai Mall to search for gifts for my family (from me). But since they can’t really decide yet, we just had aΒ scrumptious Italian dinner at Romano’s Macaroni Grill πŸ˜€ Definitely feels like we’re having Italian food in Italy! LOL And no, I wasn’t exaggerating!
Β Anyway, this was the first Christmas that Papa was away. Hopefully it would be the last too even though it was his first time to work offshore. Oh well, hopefully Papa will be back in time for New Year! So, prayers for that πŸ™‚
Again, hope you all had a great Christmas! πŸ™‚ A time of giving, a time of sharing, and a time to be thankful. Nothing beats Christmas with your loved ones :”>
